Enrollment options

This certificate course prepares students to serve effectively in the ministry of ushering. The course covers a broad spectrum of qualities and characteristic (both spiritual and natural) that a potentially new usher must have or be willing to develop.This self directed course is open for 3 months to complete.

Course Objectives:         

1. Become more knowledgeable of the meaning “to usher”

2. Understand the biblical origin and purpose of an usher

3. Know the qualifications of an usher and usher leadership

4. Understand the techniques of ushering

5. Become familiar with the ushers’ responsibilities before, during and after the Worship Service

6. Understand “ushers for all seasons”

7. Know how to deal with the unexpected
